the mighty lion

This is the lion in the Boston Public Library - you should go just to see the Sargent murals.  We had a terrible guide.  She spent an enormous time telling us about each piece of marble.  Slowly the people on the tour disappeared and we were the only ones left and we didn't have the heart to say we wanted to leave also.  Eventually we just said we wanted to see the murals and had to go because we had somewhere to  be.  A terrible guide but lots of enthusiasm for marble.
