Day 14 Chanel and her Shadow

I really liked the strong graphic presence of the shadow.

Chanel and her Shadow

This photo has nothing to do with this series, but I just had to show you what we've grown.  I am not a gardener.  I quickly grabbed a package of seeds while buying something else and I  didn't even read the label.  We just threw them in a flower box and figured for $1.75 it was worth a shot.  Well they started growing and growing but had no flowers but it was still fun to watch. Then about a week ago this happened.

Gerry and the Sunflowers

Maybe I am a gardener after all.

How does your Garden grow

Gerry did an amazing garden thing or what ever you call it. I don't think that there is a word for it, but it looks great and it will look better when we plant something next summer. it is hard to believe that the summer is over - it has been crappy weatherwise, healthwise and what ever wise.

Mully enjoys our backyard - she thinks it her playground.
